Assisting projects from idea to successful delivery.We have a core team with over 60 years experience in project development which enables us to advise on how to structure and present projects. We assist at all stages of a project and specialise in building an understanding of a project for all stakeholders, from support for development teams through to presentation of projects to funders.
Our understanding of the project development cycle enables us to predict where stumbling blocks may lay ahead for a project and assist in mitigating these. We also provide the foresight and experience to ensure that realistic timescales are set for the development, investment and implementation phases.

Access to Funding
Structuring projects to meet funder requirements.CPF has successfully developed and delivered projects internationally and has engaged with funders on three continents to successfully close investment. We have worked with funds, banks and private investment houses to structure and present projects for investment and have stepped projects through due diligence on behalf of developers with banks such as HSBC, BNP Paribas Fortis and Piper Jaffrey, as well as numerous funds internationally.
We have access to a wide network of funders, centred in the City of London but extending to the US and Asia, and a current understanding of the investment environment which assists us in structuring projects to meet funder criteria. Our staged approach to securing investment is designed to quickly access and engage funders, providing the appropriate amount of information at each stage of the process and the support required to maintain a momentum toward a successful close.
Initiation
CPF has worked internationally to initiate projects, from on the ground management and delivery through to the development of Project Idea Notes (PINs), Project Plans and Initiation Documents aimed at funders, host governments and local stakeholders. Our focus on understanding project objectives and design coupled with use of flexible scenario based modelling translates into greater control during initiation and allows for transparent real time adaptation mechanisms as the environment inevitably changes on the ground.
Project & Programme Management
CPF has experience in adapting and applying project management standards to the design and implementation of projects. We typically look to adapt existing standards, such as Prince2®, to the specific requirements of projects, recognising that the controls gained from project management standards need to be balanced with the required flexibility and skills available. We have access to an international network of project managers that can be used for initiation and training of individuals and to support ongoing skills and development.
We have extensive experience in oversight of project portfolios and the initiation and delivery of projects across multiple locations simultaneously. Our core team include programme managers who have delivered global programmes across multiple divisions of FTSE 100 companies.
Monitoring
Key to risk management & confidence in project delivery.CPF provides proprietary systems for the monitoring of projects which encompass PMO functionality and reporting tailored to a range of environments and skill sets.
Our systems operate across multiple platforms, can gather information in real time and report this via online interfaces, pushed notifications and periodic reporting. Additionally we develop bespoke monitoring software for developers and investors that is tailored to specific requirements.
